Program Basics
What is the Technology Assurance Program?
The Technology Assurance Program is an annual maintenance program that provides customers quick-and-easy access to the latest Striker software, training, and additional benefits. Striker software upgrades and updates are made available to TAP members immediately upon release.
Who is the Technology Assurance Program for?
TAP is available to all Striker Systems software customers.
How is TAP different than subscription programs?
Unlike conventional software subscription programs, Striker Systems does not force customers into a TAP membership or assess penalties if the program lapses. TAP is offered as an alternative upgrade method for customers who prefer predictable annual coverage and automatic delivery.
Benefits & Coverage
What are the customer benefits?
TAP helps with convenience, productivity, implementation control, and cost planning. Updates and upgrades are delivered automatically so your team can plan ahead and implement new releases when the timing is right.
Will I receive every upgrade during my membership term?
Yes. TAP members receive all minor updates and major upgrades released during the membership term. Historically, minor updates are released every 90 to 120 days and major upgrades every 12 to 18 months.
Can I still purchase upgrades without TAP?
Yes. Striker software upgrades may still be purchased as released, although that method does not include the additional planning and convenience benefits of TAP, including access to free training sessions.
Support & Purchasing
Does TAP include telephone support?
TAP can be purchased with or without telephone support. Telephone support may also be purchased separately.
How do I purchase a TAP membership?
Technology Assurance Program memberships are included automatically with new Striker software purchases. Existing Striker Systems customers without a TAP membership can contact Striker Systems sales at 800-950-7862 or sales@strikersystems.com.
How is TAP priced?
TAP is priced per software module included with each license of Striker Systems software. Contact Striker Systems directly for pricing.
Subscription Details
Are there requirements for joining TAP?
You must own the current version of Striker Systems software for each license placed on TAP. If you have Local Area Network support for your Striker Systems software, all seats on the network license must be placed on TAP.
Can I add or remove users?
Yes. New seats can be added at any time and synchronized with the anniversary date of the original TAP membership. At the end of each year, you can decrease seats or cancel the membership.
