PARTshare is a comprehensive part storage library at the heart of the STRIKER CAD/CAM & Nesting solutions. It maintains part geometry for nesting and NC processing, along with detailed part information required for manufacturing. PARTshare is also an add-in for many popular 3D modeling systems including SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, and Solid Edge. Sheet metal part models and complete assemblies can be released to automatically populate the PARTshare library with all of the information required for manufacturing.

Part Information Database – Along with storing the part geometry for nesting and NC processing, PARTshare also maintains a part database with extensive information about each part. This includes part number, revision information, material parameters, nesting parameters, and custom fields to adapt to specific manufacturing environments.
Revision Tracking – PARTshare includes an advanced revision tracking system to provide an historical record of each part.
Solid Modeling Interface – A PARTshare add-in is available for SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, and Solid Edge. The design engineer can release individual part models or entire assemblies, and each part is automatically unfolded and placed into the PARTshare library. A user-defined property map allows properties from the part model to populate the flat part information in the PARTshare library.
Assembly Tracking – If you process parts based on assembly, PARTshare is the ideal solution. As assemblies are released from the 3D modeling solution, each assembly and subassembly is automatically created and maintained in PARTshare. Assemblies can also be defined by the end user. Full assemblies can then be added to nest jobs just as individual parts.
Geometry Validation – Parts going into the PARTshare library are analyzed for manufacturability and are automatically “cleaned” within a user defined tolerance.
Extensive Part Lookup – Many Striker Systems customers maintain tens of thousands of parts in the PARTshare system. PARTshare allows parts to be organized in user-defined libraries and includes advanced lookup, sorting, and filtering capabilities.
Real-Time Data Sharing – As parts are added to the PARTshare library they are immediately available to all users for NC processing.
Industry Standard File Format – Many CAD/CAM solutions store part data in a proprietary format that can only be accessed by that software solution. Not Striker Systems. Parts placed into the PARTshare library are maintained in either a DWG or DXF file format.
