WHITE HOUSE, Tennessee – November 11, 2013 – Striker Systems is pleased to announce the addition of Jim Pulokas, who will join our product development team as Software Engineer.

Jim will work with Striker’s current product development staff to reduce the time to market for new software and enhanced features. Within this role, Jim will be responsible for the advancement of STRIKER CAD/CAM and Nesting software as well as custom projects within the sheet metal fabrication division. Jim’s appointment comes on the heels of STRIKER CAD/CAM Release 2014. “The timing was perfect for us,” says Allan Wright, Striker Systems Director of Development. “Jim was able to join us early in our 2015 development cycle and we’re excited to see the impact he’ll have on our upcoming releases.”

Jim comes to Striker Systems with over 15 years of software development experience, most recently as Technical Project Manager with The Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, CA, where he managed the development and support of Leginon, a package for automated image acquisition on transmission electron microscopes. Jim is a 1998 graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
