STRIKER
SYSTEMS INTRODUCES NEW E-LEARNING SYSTEM

|
WHITE HOUSE, Tennessee – February 9, 2001
Striker Systems today announced
the release of their newest multimedia e-Learning system.
The “Striker Assistant” introduces the latest in multimedia technology
in Striker’s Fab Professional sheet metal fabrication software and Die
Professional stamping die design software.
The Striker Assistant provides two key benefits to users of Striker software.
First, the Striker Assistant provides immediate access to pertinent help
information. With a single button
pick, help is retrieved for the currently active command.
Users do not have to perform keyword searches to find applicable
information. This immediate help
access not only decreases time spent in retrieving pertinent help, it also
makes users more willing to go to the Striker Assistant knowing that help is
immediately available.
A second key benefit of the Striker Assistant is that the help is provided in a
multimedia (audio/visual) format. Striker’s
Manager of Training Resources, Curtis Ellis, says,
“In an effort to make Striker products as user friendly as possible,
we’ve embedded the ‘Striker Assistant’ throughout most of our solutions.
The impact of watching a movie clip is much greater than reading a text
based help system.” The e-Learning
approach reduces the training time required by new Striker Systems users and
provides seasoned users with an on-line reference system.
The “Striker Assistant” will be shipped in conjunction with Striker
Systems Fab Professional sheet metal fabrication software and Die Professional
stamping die design software. Updates
to the e-Learning multimedia data can be automatically downloaded from the
Striker Systems web site through an automatic update system.
